Citizenship Application Cases

Submitted after 1 year of PR with older son. Second son was born 8 months later and added to the application. Wrote to follow up many times during the wait; most replies said results within 12 months. On 20 February, after 14 months of waiting, received the approval letter. From now on, this place is home.

Sharing for reference.

PR 3 years, been in Singapore 9+ years. Mother applied with daughter, father retaining PR. Been waiting 14 months, wrote multiple letters but only received generic replies. Parents' and daughter's LTVPs are all under my name, and daughter's has already been renewed. Not sure why citizenship hasn't been approved yet — insufficient qualifications or citizenship becoming more competitive?
